NISSAN GTR R35
At the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show the Nissan GTR debuted, and launched to the Japanese market in December 2007 and launched to the U.S.A July 07, 2008. The Nissan R35 has its engine and rear-mounted dual-clutch gearbox built by hand, limiting production to around 1000 cars a month. The R35 is all-wheel drive with a twin-turbo 6 cylinder engine.
Although the R35 no longer carrys the “Skyline” badge, it has heritage in the earlier models. Just like its predecessors, the “R32-R34”, the R35 is all-wheel drive with a twin-turbo 6 cylinder engine; it has also retained the nickname “Godzilla”. You can be the judge as to why.
In 2016, the Nissan GTR held a lap time of 1:19.7 around the Top Gear Test Track, “equal with the Ferrari F430 Scuderia”.

Nissan GTR Fast and Furious
The Nissan GT-R is one of the standout cars featured in the Fast & Furious franchise, celebrated for its blistering speed, cutting-edge technology, and aggressive styling. A modern icon in the world of performance vehicles, the GT-R’s presence in the series marks a shift from classic muscle and tuner cars to next-generation supercars. Mostly driven by Brian O’Conner (played by Paul Walker), the GT-R reflects his character’s evolution—from an undercover cop with a passion for street racing to a skilled, precision driver involved in international missions.
Appearing in instalments, the R35 GT-R is especially prominent in Fast & Furious 6 and Furious 7, where it’s featured in high-speed chases, heists, and intense action sequences. Brian’s GT-Rs are often heavily modified with widebody kits, performance upgrades, and bespoke styling touches that highlight the car’s raw power.

Its journey began in the 1960s, blending cutting-edge technology with everyday usability, ultimately gaining global acclaim for its dominance on both track and street. Inspired by relentless engineering, the GTR symbolizes Nissan’s commitment to pushing boundaries in aerodynamics, engine technology, and handling dynamics. Like Lamborghini’s founder frustrated with Ferrari, Nissan engineers refined the GTR to challenge the world’s best sports cars, embodying speed, precision, and Japanese heritage.
