6th Gear Experience is the only company you can experience supercars at Crail Raceway with, a fast and flowing circuit suitable for all. Crail Raceway is well known throughout Scotland as a venue for “Petrolheads”!

Our circuit at East Fortune is based on the historic airfield built back in 1915, situated next to the Museum of Flight not far from the town of Haddington, approximately 25 minutes from Edinburgh.

Crail Raceway

Crail Raceway is well known throughout Scotland as a venue for “Petrolheads” and we use the same Circuit used for their track days and Rallies for our experience days. Being in close proximity to St Andrews it’s ideal for making your driving experience part of a day out.

Crail was first opened as an RAF base in 1918 with many of the impressive original (Protected) buildings still onsite (but safely out of bounds to us). We use the impressive 3 long intersecting runways to make up our circuit. Given the size of the facility, Crail is also a multi experience venue so you will find our Lorry and Mini driving also on offer here.

East Fortune

If you have ever been to East Fortune for a Supercar Experience prior to 2020 then you haven’t been. We have invested so much in reworking the now extended circuit to give all drivers so much more from their experience with lots of different turns and new straights. East Fortune offers a very open and safe venue for drivers of all abilities and ages to get what they need out of their supercars.

Our circuit at East Fortune is based on the historic airfield built back in 1915, situated next to the Museum of Flight not far from the town of Haddington. Approximately 25 minutes from Edinburgh heading east along the A1 it is very easy to find if you follow the signs for the Museum of Flight (but do not turn into the Museum of Flight itself).

Our Edinburgh South Circuit also sees lots of guests travelling up from Newcastle to get their “Supercar fix”. East Fortune also houses our basic young drive experiences for those of you wanting to get a taste of what learning towards your license will be like.

These allow drivers to push cars to their limits on professional racing circuits across the country, including famous locations spanning the North West to the South East.

Supercar Experiences

6th Gear Experience specialize in providing short, thrilling drives in supercars, allowing individuals to experience the sheer power and excitement of vehicles like Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and Aston Martins.

Truck experiences

Try something a little bit different. Get behind our fully automatic DAF CF car transporter or DAF XF and feel the virtually unmatched torque you can only get from these massive engines.

Novice track days

Are you new to the track day experience? You can take your own car onto the 1-mile training track, which is designed to be easier to learn. There will also be ARDS instructors available to make sure your day goes perfectly. The novice track days are only available at our Stafford track.
