6th Gear Experience at Northern Tracks
6th Gear Experience offers thrilling driving adventures at two premier tracks in the North of England: Elvington Airfield and Three Sisters Circuit.
Elvington is our primary track in North East England, being located near York. On the other side of the Peak District our primary track for the North West is the Three Sisters Circuit, in Lancashire. A poetic rivalry between these courses dates back to War of the Roses. Which is the better track? That’s depends on who you ask, a Yorkist would definitely say Elvington!
Near Ellesmere Port, there is Hooton Park. Hooton Park houses our basic young drive experiences for those wanting to get a taste of what learning towards their Driving License will be like.
Teesside Autodrome is a renowned venue in the Northeast of England, internationally renowned for hosting the British 24hour karting championship. And Kirkbride is one of our multi experience sites so you will find Lorry and Mini driving also part of the list of experiences operating here.
Elvington Airfield
Elvington Airfield, located near York, is a premier destination for high-speed driving experiences with 6th Gear Experience. Known for its expansive and versatile layout, Elvington is the perfect venue to push supercars to their limits. The airfield features long, wide straights that allow drivers to experience the full power and speed of high-performance vehicles. As a former RAF bomber station, Elvington boasts historical significance and has been the site of numerous record-setting events.
The track’s ample run-off areas ensure a safe environment for both novice and experienced drivers, making it an ideal location to explore the capabilities of supercars. Participants at Elvington with 6th Gear Experience can enjoy the exhilaration of driving some of the world’s most exotic supercars, including Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and Aston Martins, on this iconic track.
Three Sisters Circuit
Three Sisters Circuit, located in Wigan, Lancashire, is a premier venue for 6th Gear Experience. Known for its challenging and technical layout, this track offers a mix of tight corners and fast straights, providing a comprehensive driving challenge for all skill levels. Spanning approximately 1.5 kilometres, the circuit features sections that test both handling and speed, ensuring an exhilarating experience for drivers.
With a rich history of hosting various motorsport events, Three Sisters is well-equipped to deliver a thrilling experience. Participants with 6th Gear Experience can enjoy the excitement of navigating tight bends and accelerating down fast straights in high-performance supercars such as Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and Aston Martins. This iconic circuit is one of the UK’s most challenging, making it the perfect setting for an unforgettable driving adventure.
Hooton Park
Built in 2006 on the site of the old Hooton Airfield situated near Ellesmere Port, the track was built to Motor Sports Association standard.
Hooton Park is a challenging twisting circuit that benefits from a clubhouse overlooking the circuit meaning friends and family are able to watch your whole lap; something that not many circuits nationwide can say.
Hooton Park gives the feel of the larger premium circuits in a smaller safer environment whilst still enabling plenty of places to safely overtake and get a taste of what these supercars can do. Ideal for juniors and adults of all ages especially those that may not have had much experience driving in a circuit environment, we are pleased to boast that Hooton Park guests are often returning again and again.
Hooton Park also houses our basic young drive experiences for those wanting to get a taste of what learning towards their Driving License will be like.

Kirkbride Airfield
Kirkbride Airfield located just outside Carlisle is our North of England Circuit helping service the North of England, South of Scotland and even Glasgow clients.
Kirkbride is one of our multi experience sites so you will find Lorry and Mini driving also part of the list of experiences operating here. Originally opened in 1939 and owned by the RAF until 1960. The long fast runway is perfect to provide a fun, safe environment for everyone, giving you a taste of what these cars can be capable of with fast flowing chicanes and tight hairpins.
Being in relatively close proximity to the Lake District has seen some guests add a driving experience on to holidays and other events in the area.

Teesside Autodrome
Teesside Autodrome is a renowned venue in the Northeast of England. Its internationally renowned for hosting the British 24hour karting championship thanks to it being the biggest circuit of its type in Europe but it is no stranger to Supercar Experiences and has been hosting them since 2006 (including other Driving Experiences).
As always, our experience days are designed to give everyone a taste of what supercars are and what they can do and thanks to Teesside Autodrome’s straights, technical bends, tight hairpins and even an up-hill section, as well as the famous South Bank Bend – a sweeping, 12-metre-wide banked bend we are sure you’ll be hooked and be back time and time again.
The circuit itself is very flexible and can be configured to include any of the infield sections, as well as a small off-road section favoured by super-motos although you will not be surprised to hear this is out of bounds for our Supercars!
