Description

Ok so this is a bit different from an Aston Martin but our trucks are really great fun to drive! The sheer torque from this huge engine is incredible and sat high above anyone else its an exhilarating experience, especially once the tractor unit is coupled up to our Racecar Transporter!

Our Truck Driving Thrill kicks off with a short briefing by your friendly HGV instructor. Then follows 20 minutes negotiating our special purpose made course. Whether it’s weaving through cones or learning how to reverse this 55ft long monster – it’s absolutely great fun!

*Please note, the recipient will either drive a DAF XF, or DAF CF Car Transporter.

Ok, admittedly this is slightly different to an Aston Martin or Lamborghini but our 480bhp DAF tractor unit is really great fun to drive! 6th Gear are happy to offer this experience to anybody with a driving licence, no HGV experience necessary! The sheer torque from this huge engine is incredible and sat high above anyone else it’s an exhilarating experience, especially once the tractor unit is coupled up to our Race car Transporter!
Upon arrival at the location, you will have your driver registration – this is just to fill out a few forms and to show you are there. You will then be transported from the main circuit to the area of the track where the truck experience occurs. The experience then kicks off with an introduction to your friendly HGV Instructor. Then follows 20 minutes negotiating the HGV around the special purpose made course. Drivers will be weaving through cones and attempting to reverse the 55ft long monster. Our experience truck has an automatic gearbox making it a lot easier to understand, meaning more time driving! It’s absolutely great fun!
There is room inside for passengers. We are able to take 2 guests with each driver in the truck cab making this a great family experience for everyone to enjoy! Also, we are unable to have the professional photographers at this part of the track…however, the Instructor will give you the chance to take as many pictures of the experience as you would like!
Finally we will present the driver a Certificate of Truck driving to remind them of just what a super day they have spent with us!
